The Office of Alumni Relations is the right place to contact if you want to organize an alumni meeting with former fellow students. The alumni network gives you the opportunity to maintain your relations and contacts from your alma mater at various events: at the annual Science Day, at alumni reunions, at personal events or through regional alumni groups.
We gladly advise you on different topics concerning establishing contacts to former fellow students or the organization of alumni meetings. Upon request, we organize a day in the faculty that you were a part of as a student.

"Alumni Global Hour"
Since May 2021, on every 7th of a month, the "Alumni Global Hour" takes place at 4 p.m. Stuttgart time. The AGH offers space for an open exchange with alumnae and alumni worldwide who would like to get in touch with the University of Stuttgart and with other alumnae and alumni. Alumnae and alumni can contact us with ideas they would like to bring forward in the "Alumni Global Hour".
The "Alumni Global Hour" takes place via Webex. You can find all upcoming dates and registration information in our events calendar.

"Meet and greet": Alumni meeting in the UNI pavilion at Science Day
The alumni network of the University of Stuttgart invites all alumnae and alumni to meet former fellow students and colleagues on the annual Science Day in the UNI pavilion. The UNI pavilion is a forum for alumnae and alumni, partners and friends of the University of Stuttgart, who are looking for an exchange with scientists and university staff appreciating the personal cultivation of contacts.
On this day, the members and guests of "alumnius", the members of the alumni clubs and booster clubs as well as the guests of the rectorate meet for an exchange. "alumnius" members can book their own table for a meeting with former fellow students and can go on an exciting tour of the campus starting at the pavilon, thereby delving into memories of the shared past as students.

This year's Science Day was again able to take place on campus as planned with sunshine. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to campus at next year's Science Day to amaze you with the University of Stuttgart's research and science.
Alumni reunions
An alumni meeting at the University of Stuttgart on the occasion of your reunion, will be a special day for you and your former fellow students. Whether you are visiting your former institute, taking a look behind the scenes of today's university life, discussing current research topics with scientists from your department, once again having lunch in the canteen or taking a look at the reading room in the university library: Together with you, we will create an individual program for your alumni meeting.
Your personal alumni event
Do you meet former fellow students and friends from your studies regularly and would you like to open your meetings to other interested parties? Do you want to establish a club or a regular meeting place for alumni of the University of Stuttgart at your place of residence or in your region and spread the word about these activities through the "alumnius" media channels?
Please feel free to contact the team of the Office of Alumni Relations if you have any ideas for alumni activities or if you are looking for assistance in planning, organizing, and implementing your personal alumni event. We are happy to give you suggestions and to refer you to contact persons in the faculties. In addition, we can help you to search for former fellow students and we provide support for re-establishing contacts.
Regional alumni meetings
Did you relocate and are you now looking for people living at your new place of residence who have also studied or worked at the University of Stuttgart? Would you like to exchange memories of your studies in Stuttgart with other alumnae and alumni? Would you like to bring together people from different disciplines and professions at one table? Or do you want to organize regular meetings especially for former students of your own department.
In such cases we gladly support you to found a reagional alumni group. Activities of such a group can be, for example, the organization of lectures, joint visits to scientific events and tours, or even regular meetings.
The "alumnius" team will work with you to get in touch with alumnae and alumni in your area and inform the members of the alumni network about your group's activities. Please feel free to contact the team of the Office of Alumni Relations!
