University Sports classes program for the winter semester of 2024/25 will be available from October 14th 2024 to April 5th 2025. The registration period already started.

The Department of Early Career Researchers and Diversity presents their new diversity concept “"Intelligent Through Diversity," which is now available in German and English. To enable equal opportunities in higher education, Rector Prof. Wolfram Ressel also signed the Charter of Diversity. The goal: Students, teaching staff, and all those active in the areas of science, administration, and technology can work in an environment that promotes diversity and is free of prejudice.

The content of the current issue of forschung leben focuses on the vision of conquering diseases. Researchers are working every day to bring the fulfillment of this vision a little closer. This calls for interdisciplinarity, and this is where the strengths of the University of Stuttgart come into play - for example, through its research area "Biomedical Systems".

The Heinz Bach Prize is awarded by VdF HLK Stuttgart e.V. and ITGA BW, in cooperation with the Institute for Building Energetics, Thermotechnology and Energy Storage (IGTE) at the University of Stuttgart. The aim is to promote young scientists in commemoration of the work of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinz Bach.
