With its more than one thousand members, the Association of Friends of the University of Stuttgart provides valuable assistance. One of the declared goals of this circle of friends is to support the University in its academic needs concerning research, teaching and education as well as in its endeavours to be a place of lively cooperation.
Among others, the Association of Friends has supported the "International Center" of the University of Stuttgart on Campus Vaihingen and the University Library.
