Have you ever created a photobook with your favorite holiday photos online? Or bought sneakers customized for your feet? Personalized products and services are a mega trend, and many areas of everyday life would be inconceivable without them.

But what about your privacy as a user? After all, you are required to reveal personal information to buy the personalized photobooks or sneakers.

Researchers from the High Performance Center Mass Personalization (LZMP) would like to discuss with users how this industry should and could be designed to protect your personal data, but at the same time remain usable for diverse, individualized offers. The research group would like to hear your opinions and work with you to address these questions and develop solutions for the future in a free online workshop.

You are welcome to attend the workshop if

  • you are interested in the topic "personalization of products and services",
  • you want to control your own privacy,
  • you would like to help shape tomorrow's world,
  • if you, as a private individual, would like to gain insight into the work of a research group.
