Notes concerning the subscription
The subscription to and unsubscription from the "alumnius" newsletter is carried out via a so-called double opt-in feature. Therefore, you first have to state your e-mail address. After pressing the respective "subscribe" or "unsubscribe" button, a message will appear saying that we have received your wish. Within the upcoming two to ten minutes, we will send an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided. This e-mail contains a link on which you have to click in order to complete your subscription or unsubscription. Only after doing that you will finally have subscribed or unsubscribed.
In order for us to administrate the newsletter, your provision of your e-mail address is mandatory. Otherwise, subscribing to or unsubscribing from the newsletter is impossible. In addition, you can optionally enter your name. Once you enter your e-mail address and optionally your name, both will be saved in a database along with the activation code, the status of the subscription, the date of the entry and the validation of the e-mail address. The data will be saved until you unsubscribe or the e-mail address becomes invalid due to the e-mails not being delivered. Further information will not be saved.
Your e-mail address will be disclosed in the process of sending the newsletter to the ones (especially the e-mail provider) technically involved with it. Apart from that, we will not hand out your e-mail address to third parties and we only use it for the transmission of the alumni newsletter.
The legal basis for processing the data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR.
You can withdraw from this agreement through unsubscribing from the newsletter at any time. However, the legitimacy of processing the data through the initial consent until the communication of the objection is valid.
