Arrival by train:
Leave the station via the exit with the staircase left of the northern exit. The northern exit is located on the right of the station concourse when you leave the platforms. Cross the "Arnulf-Klett-Platz", the street which runs parallel to the mainstation, and go straight ahead into Lautenschlagerstraße, which runs between Hotel Graf Zeppelin and the restaurant Block House. Follow Lautenschlagerstraße until junction Lautenschlager-/Kronenstraße. Turn right there into Kronenstraße until the next junction (Friedrichstraße/Kronenstraße) and cross Friedrichstraße at the traffic lights. Then follow Friedrichstraße on your left and turn right into Geschwister-Scholl-Straße.
Arrival by Subway (stop main station):
Take the exit into Klettpassage. There take the exit to Lautenschlagerstraße. When you are on street level, follow the Lautenschlagerstraße until junction Lautenschlager-/Kronenstraße. Turn right there into Kronenstraße until the next junction (Friedrichstraße/Kronenstraße) and cross Friedrichstraße at the traffic lights. After you have crossed the street, follow Friedrichstraße on your left and turn right into Geschwister-Scholl-Straße at the next junction.
Arrival by Underground (stop main station/Arnulf-Klett-Platz):
Take U9 towards Vogelrain or U14 towards Heslach/Vogelrain. Leave the underground at Friedrichsbau/Börse (first stop after main station) and go towards Friedrichstraße. Take the escalator upstairs and cross Schellingstraße. Go straight ahead along Keplerstraße until the two high-rise buildings of the University of Stuttgart (KI and KII) are on your left. Vis-à-vis, on the right of Keplerstraße, you will find Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 24 B.
Arrival by Car
From the main station (arnulf-Klett-Platz) drive towards Katharinenhospital and Lindenmuseum and turn left at Hotel Rieker into Friedrichstraße (B 27).
T´hen take the right lane. Take the second street to your right into Geschwister-Scholl-Straße. There is a car park (City Garage) on the right hand side of Geschwister-Scholl-Straße.
Note:
Due to the increased traffic towards Stuttgart centre, you should include 15 minutes extra time.
Please note that the University of Stuttgart is situated in the so-called Umweltzone (low-emmision zone). Youwill need an extra emission sticker when you come by car.
Arriving at the airport, it is best to use public transport to get to the city center. The subway stop is located directly beneath the airport. Just follow the signs marked with S.
Buy a ticket for 3 zones at one of the orange-coloured vending machines (labelled VVS). Take the subway to the main station (Hauptbahnhof).
From there please follow the directions "Arrival by S-Bahn".
